Software Engineer II - Devops and Test automation

As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within Consumer and Community Banking Business Banking technology team, you will be part of an agile team that focuses on enhancing, designing, and delivering the software components of the firm's state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role involves executing software solutions by designing, developing, and troubleshooting multiple components within a technical product, application, or system. **Key Responsibilities:** - Executes standard software solutions, design, testing, and technical troubleshooting - Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance - Designs, develops, tests, and troubleshoots considering upstream and downstream systems and technical implications - Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to enhance automation - Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and address technical problems of basic complexity - Analyzes diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development - Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the delivery of secure, stable code and systems - Contributes to the team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect **Qualification Required:** - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 2+ years of applied experience - Hands-on experience as an Automation Test Engineer with Java, Selenium, Cucumber - Experience in both Front-end and backend Test automation, including component and Acceptance Testing - Experience in implementing DevOps Methodologies such as CI/CD pipeline and Integrating Test automation in the Pipeline - Exposure to Application Resiliency, Test automation, Security, Performance Testing - Hands-on practical experience in testing and ensuring operational stability - Experience in testing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages - Demonstrable ability to code in one or more languages - Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle - Emerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) **Additional Details:** - Preferred qualifications include familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies.,
