Job Description

As a Software Engineer on the Enterprise Security team at Uber, you will play a crucial role in designing and deploying secure architectures for enterprise applications. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the security posture and elevating security standards within the organization. By leveraging your software engineering skills, you will collaborate with a diverse team to make a tangible impact on Uber's security landscape. Key Responsibilities: - Design features and systems that address challenges in enterprise application security - Write clean, modular, and maintainable code to ensure the security of digital assets - Deploy, configure, and manage various enterprise security solutions - Build and maintain the platform for Enterprise Application Security Posture Management (SSPM) platform Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering - Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, or C/C++ - Strong problem-solving skills with expertise in microservice architecture and code reviews Additionally, if you possess the following qualifications, it would be considered a bonus: - Experience in developing Cyber Security/Network security solutions - Proficiency in integrating open-source and vendor products - Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and frameworks for production systems - Knowledge of automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) for security operations Joining the Security Engineering team at Uber will provide you with a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and emerging talent, shaping the security landscape of a leading tech company while refining your technical and security expertise.,
