Programming Languages: Proficiency in C, C++, Python Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good in Hardware Schematic review Good in hardware peripheral interfaces (UART, USB, BT, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, WAN, GPS) Strong knowledge of network programming (Socket, MQTT, 0Mq, WebSocket, Webserver) Experience in Wireless protocols (BT, Wi-Fi, WAN) preferred Strong knowledge of cross compiling, Docker, Ubuntu Linux Good knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure) Responsibilities: Understand the requirements Design, develop, code, test, and debug software Performance profiling (CPU, Memory, Network) Work closely with hardware design and development teams. Strong in trouble shooting skills Collaborate with other software engineers, product owners, and stakeholders Good communication skills (Oral, Written, attention to details) with customers/partners Familiar with tools ClearCase, GitHub, Pull Request, Jira, Confluence, GitHub Co-pilot Good understanding on Security concepts, Secure Programming & Certificate Management Good in understanding protocols & packet encoding/decoding Familiar with message sniffing tools (Wireshark, Serial port monitor) Good in programming languages and structures, Data structures and Algorithms Qualifications: Yocto Linux, Shell Script, Bitbake recipes, patch porting (Kernel, drivers & security updates) Working with ARMv7 or higher controllers Debugging device driver level issues IO interfaces: GPIO, SPI, UART, USB, SDIO Familiarity with GDB, Valgrind debugging tools and techniques.
