Software Engineer- Golang

Role Overview: As an IT Software Engineer at UBS, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of solutions that enhance the productivity and efficiency of development organizations within the bank. Your responsibilities will include building a cutting-edge SDLC build chain focused on continuous delivery with an emphasis on security and compliance automation. You will also be tasked with developing innovative tooling and solutions related to CI/CD, as well as driving their adoption across multiple lines of business. Your role will involve being an agent of change by collaborating with stakeholders to drive positive transformations. Key Responsibilities: - Support the delivery of solutions to improve productivity and effectiveness of development organizations - Help build a state-of-the-art SDLC build chain with a focus on continuous delivery, security, and compliance automation - Develop innovative tooling and solutions related to CI/CD and drive their adoption - Engage and partner with stakeholders across multiple lines of business to drive positive change Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of software and/or IT engineering experience - Strong programming skills in Golang, or willingness to work with Golang (Java preferred) - Ability to design and architect systems and effectively communicate detailed designs - Proven experience in implementing test automation - Familiarity with platforms, technologies, and tools, including GitLab and Linux - Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and other cloud-native infrastructure technologies is a plus - Experience with cloud technologies (preferably Azure) and enabling cloud-native solutions - Experience working in Agile teams, with the ability to lead Scrum teams and a dynamic skillset About the Company: UBS is the world's largest and only truly global wealth manager, operating through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
