Software Engineer, Frontend

As a Frontend Engineer at DoorDash, you will be responsible for building and maintaining large-scale data applications and platforms in the data applications space. Your role will involve designing and creating beautiful, intuitive user interfaces for web applications to enhance the delivery experience for our users. You will collaborate with both technical and business teams to develop features that prioritize user satisfaction and address key business challenges. This hybrid role is based in Pune with some in-office work required, reporting to an Engineering Manager. **Key Responsibilities:** - Become a product owner for one of our client-facing applications. - Write robust, highly tested, well-crafted code to ensure quality deliverables. - Advocate for the best customer experience through strategic technical and product decisions. **Qualifications Required:** - B.S., M.S., or PhD in a relevant field. - Minimum of 2 years of industry experience. - Proficiency in cross-browser compatibility, progressive enhancement, responsive design, and website performance. - Experience in architecting large-scale frontend applications. - Strong grasp of vanilla JS, HTML5, and CSS3. - Deep understanding of REST principles and backend API implementation. - Familiarity with React/Redux or similar frameworks. - Experience in documentation, unit testing, and integration testing.
