Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at Chubb, you will play a crucial role in developing applications in .Net framework, C#, and ASP.Net. Here is an overview of your role, key responsibilities, and qualifications required: Role Overview: - Work alongside experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in developing applications in .Net framework, C#, and ASP.Net. - Actively participate in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications. - Contribute to the successful implementation of various projects. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and goals. - Design, develop, and maintain software applications using .Net framework, C#, and ASP.Net. - Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. - Ensure software meets quality standards and project deadlines. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. - Provide support and assistance to other team members. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of software components. - Knowledge on SSO concepts like SAML, oauth, OIDP. - Experience in developing new pages on websites. - Familiarity with code linting concepts and usage in the last 2 years. - Working Experience in Git and creating automated unit test cases. - Understanding of devops and containerization concepts, preferably with application hosting on azure app service. - Knowledge on session management in angular and various storage areas on client-side UI development. - Experience with .netcore webapi framework. - Familiarity with security concepts like authorization/authentication is preferred. - Awareness about APIM concepts is a plus. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. - Proficiency in .Net framework, C#, and ASP.Net. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Experience with Git, automated unit testing, and code linting tools. - Familiarity with devops, containerization, and security concepts. - Knowledge of session management in angular and client-side UI development.
