Software Engineer 2

As a Software Engineer on the Data governance team at Dell Technologies in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in developing and deploying solutions to oversee data governance and quality within the supply chain organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders and internal team members to build a best-in-class Data Governance organization in one of the world's most respected Supply Chains. Your key responsibilities will include: - Creating data quality-related solutions and workflows using tools like Microsoft Power Apps, Python, Airflow, Ataccama, etc. - Understanding business requirements and establishing business rules using SQL, and providing visibility through Power BI dashboard, Thought Spot, or Ataccama. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional business teams to define, align, and establish measurements for data quality reports and scorecards. Additionally, you will deploy and monitor data governance and quality metrics. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential for success in this position. Qualifications required: - Good experience in data analysis and automation using Python - Proficiency in working with PostgreSQL, GraphQL, and reporting tools such as Power BI and ThoughtSpot - Experience in data quality, quality rules definition, and automation in the supply chain domain is desirable - Proficiency in working with Data Quality tools like Ataccama, IDQ, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and meet deadlines.
