Join the PowerScale team in Bangalore or Pune to contribute to the modernization efforts of the stack for the GenAI era. **Key Responsibilities:** - Participate in the preparation, review, and evaluation of software/storage requirements and specifications. - Prepare written specifications for tasks of varied complexity based on verbal requirements. - Use defined software lifecycle methodologies. - Review and implement test strategies for software products. **Qualifications Required:** - Typically requires 3-5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or an advanced degree without experience. - Solid knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, and Python; operating systems like Windows/Linux; firmware; device drivers; and databases. - Ability to code/debug moderately complex programs using written design specifications. - Knowledge of Network Attached Storage (NAS) and its application. - Good understanding of hardware and software interactions. **Desirable Qualifications:** - Knowledge of distributed software systems, protocols such as SMB, NFS, or S3 interfaces in shippable software/services. - Understanding of system calls, inter-process IPC or remote-procedure RPC calls, multiplexed I/O and concurrency models, system configuration, and memory management.
