As a Software Development Test Engineer at CGI, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through test automation, manual testing, and integration into CI/CD pipelines. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases - Integrating testing in CI/CD Pipelines effectively - Conducting white box and black box testing using tools like Selenium and Cucumber - Implementing DevOps and Test Automation toolsets such as Git, Docker, and Jenkins - Applying test-driven development techniques and behavior-driven development methodology - Utilizing scripting and programming languages like Python and Java - Demonstrating proficiency in Agile frameworks and regression testing - Conducting performance and/or security testing - Analyzing requirements and mapping them to appropriate solutions - Collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical staff in a team environment - Adapting to changing priorities, managing multiple projects, and prioritizing tasks efficiently To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Core Skills: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems - 4+ years of experience in programming, test automation, and manual testing - Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes Secondary Skills: - Extensive knowledge of DevOps and Test Automation toolsets - Familiarity with Selenium, Cucumber, Git, Docker, and Jenkins - Proficiency in white box and black box testing techniques - Experience with test-driven development and behavior-driven development - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently - Excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders - Capacity to adapt to changing technology and prioritize tasks effectively At CGI, you will experience a work environment rooted in ownership, teamwork, respect, and belonging.
