These are exciting times for our organization as we are building new capabilities and architectures to become the default platform running all OCI services. This team will also deliver critical improvements for customers that can enable new customer adoption and aggressive business growth. We are looking for a manager who has deep management plane/dataplane and Kubernetes experience and can lead the charge for core feature and performance optimization deliverables. Career Level - M3 Resposibilities: - Lead and coach engineering teams to deliver successful products and services. - Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to ensure compliance and drive innovation within the organization. - Enhance cloud services and establish operational excellence. - Set the technical direction for the team. - Coach, mentor, and develop the best talent. - Establish and stimulate software development standards, processes, and best practices for the team. - Define new KPIs to inform decision making and prioritization. - Set goals and expectations for performance and work with employees to establish specific, measurable goals and commitments. Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of management experience in enterprise software. - 7+ years of experience in software development with a focus on data plane/networking/security domains. - Bachelors degree in computer science and engineering or related engineering fields. Preferred Qualifications: - 7+ years of management experience. - Prior development experience within Cloud Infrastructure or low-level systems engineering. - Proficient in programming in Go, Java, Python - Master s or PhD degree in Computer Science or related engineering fields.
