Software Development Lead

As a Software Development Lead at ISS STOXX in Mumbai (Goregaon East), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining systems using your solid background in SQL, JAVA, React, and Python. You will also mentor and manage a team, demonstrating self-direction and ownership of projects and tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Understand business processes, data architecture, and automate manual processes - Author high-quality T-SQL programs in Microsoft SQL Server - Manage the team effectively - Provide technical support to business users - Communicate and collaborate with global teams - Learn and work on various technologies and tools Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - 6-9 years of experience in SQL, JAVA, React, Python, and team management - Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, database design, complex SQL queries, optimization, and performance tuning - Familiarity with data pipelines using Python - Willingness to work on data visualization libraries and learn modern development practices - Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, docker, Kubernetes, and Agile Scrum - Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving skills - Solid team management skills - Flexibility to work in fast-paced environments and different time zones Good to have: - Familiarity with Capital markets and Mutual funds industry/data - BI tools like SSRS and dashboard tools - Experience in JavaScript/.NET - Proactive approach towards fostering business growth At ISS STOXX, our culture values diverse skills, perspectives, and experiences.
