Educational Qualification :Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field. Masters degree preferred
Summary:As an Automotive Software Architect, define and manage overall software architecture for automotive projects, collaborating closely with software and hardware teams, and conducting gap analysis in partnership with OEMs (original equipment manufacturers).
Roles and Responsibilities:1.Define and evolve software architectures for automotive systems, considering factors such as performance, scalability, safety, and security. Establish design patterns, frameworks, and guidelines to facilitate modular and maintainable software development. 2.Collaborate with stakeholders such as Algorithm and Software team to elicit, analyze, and prioritize software requirements. Translate requirements into architectural designs and technical specifications. Conduct feasibility studies and assess technical risks to inform decision-making. 3.Work with cross-functional teams of software engineers, system architects, and quality assurance specialists to drive the implementation of software solutions. 4.Define strategies and processes for software quality assurance and testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing. 5.Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, such as ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE. 6.Identify performance bottlenecks and optimization opportunities within software architectures. Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize software-hardware interactions and maximize system performance.Professional & Technical Skills:

1.Proven experience (5+ years) in automotive software architecture and development, with a strong focus on embedded systems and real-time software. 2.Proficiency in software architecture design principles, patterns, and methodologies. Experience with architecture modeling tools (e.g., UML, SysML) is desirable. 3.Expertise in programming languages used in automotive software development, such as MATLAB, C/C++, and Python. 4.Familiarity with AUTOSAR architecture is a plus. 5.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle processes and methodologies, including agile and waterfall approaches.6.Excellent communication and ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Additional Information:1.The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Automotive ECU Software2.This position is based at our Hyderabad office3.A 15 years full time education is required (Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics, or any related stream.) Qualification
