Summary:We are seeking an experienced Display Infrastructure Lead to drive the design, development, and optimization of display and graphics subsystems for next-generation automotive infotainment, instrument clusters, and digital cockpit platforms. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end display pipeline architecture, performance, and integration, ensuring seamless rendering of complex UIs and multiple concurrent applications on embedded platforms. Roles & Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and development of display infrastructure, including multi-display management, rendering pipelines, and composition frameworks.Define and implement display architecture covering graphics drivers, middleware, and hardware acceleration.Collaborate with SoC vendors, middleware, Android/AAOS, and HMI/UI teams to enable optimized performance and seamless integration.Ensure synchronization, latency management, and high frame-rate rendering across multiple displays (HUD, cluster, infotainment, rear-seat displays).Define and drive display virtualization, hypervisor integration, and GPU/CPU resource sharing strategies.Perform performance profiling, debugging, and tuning of rendering paths, memory bandwidth, and composition.Contribute to standards compliance (OpenGL ES, Vulkan, Wayland, DRM/KMS, Android SurfaceFlinger/Composer).Lead proof-of-concept developments, benchmarking, and bring-up of display pipelines on new SoCs and boards.Collaborate closely with validation teams to define test strategies for graphics performance, stability, and reliability.Mentor engineers on display technologies, GPU pipelines, and best practices. Skills:
Technical Experience:Strong expertise in graphics/display infrastructure in embedded/automotive systems.Hands-on experience with DRM/KMS, Wayland, SurfaceFlinger, HW Composer, GPU/SoC display subsystems.Strong programming skills in C/C++, OpenGL ES, Vulkan, and familiarity with Android/AAOS display stack.Experience with multi-display management, frame buffer management, video overlays, and composition.Deep understanding of SoC display controllers, GPU/CPU load balancing, memory bandwidth optimization.Proven track record in display bring-up, debugging (perf tools, systrace, GPU profilers).Experience with virtualization and hypervisors (QNX Hypervisor, AGL, Xen, KVM) for display sharing.Good knowledge of Linux graphics stack (Mesa, GBM, EGL).Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Good to Have:Exposure to HUD (Head-Up Display), AR/VR rendering, or next-gen automotive graphics.Familiarity with AUTOSAR Adaptive / ISO 26262 functional safety considerations for displays.Experience in AI/ML based rendering optimization or intelligent display resource allocation.Worked with Tier-1/OEM infotainment or cockpit programs Additional Information:Bachelor of Engineering in Computers, Electronics, or any related stream Qualification 15 years full time education
