Software Development Engineers

As a Software Development Engineer at our client's company in Pune, you will work on an agile team in the big data arena. Your primary responsibility will be to build the infrastructure supporting AudienceScience Gateway, a global media buying platform utilizing real-time bidding and behavioral targeting technologies. This platform handles over 9 billion requests per day and aggregates data on Hadoop clusters. Distributed systems experience is preferred, and experience with Hadoop is a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Chief Architect to design and develop scalable, efficient, distributed systems following best practices for quality, testability, and operability. - Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards. - Provide third-tier support for production systems. Qualifications Required: - Proficient in Java with outstanding coding skills. - Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization techniques, and object-oriented programming. - Excellent design and problem-solving abilities with a focus on quality and engineering excellence at scale. - Effective written and verbal communication skills. - Experience and preference for working in an Agile/Scrum environment. - Ability to analyze business issues, identify weaknesses in requirements, and propose comprehensive solutions to major underlying business challenges. - Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage objectives effectively. - Proactive in exploring new technologies and overcoming technical obstacles autonomously, with clear communication of recommendations and solutions.,
