This candidate will be joining a team working on highly scalable services including modern UX using native cloud technologies. The work will be highly visible to Amazon customers and internal stakeholders.
As a Software Development Engineer, this person will contribute to the design and development of highly scalable web services and user experiences, while also providing technical leadership and mentoring to the team and tech stakeholders.
A successful candidate will have an established background in developing customer-facing experiences and back-end web services, strong technical skills, a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment, high creativity, and great analytical reasoning skills.
The candidate will also have proven experience in designing cross-teams systems architecture and mentoring peer software developers to enhance productivity.
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
