Our team is looking for passionate, experienced software developer who can deliver high quality platform solutions to support our customers (buyers and merchants) enabling Amazon Pay to scale as the universal wallet for all of Amazon buyers. As an engineer in Amazon Pay, you will be part of a dynamic team working on complex problems innovating on behalf of our customers. Come join us as we work hard, have Fun and make History!Key job responsibilities- Deliver high-quality platform solutions supporting diverse customer and merchant use cases for Amazon Pay- Develop and enhance web-based applications and web services that enable third-party merchants to integrate Amazon Pay
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented designOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
