Software Development Engineer-I(Backend)

Role Overview: As a Software Development Engineer-I (Backend) at Innovaccer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems using technologies such as Python, Django, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis AI (RAG / Agents / LLMs). You will collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products and solve customer pain points through efficient APIs and microservices. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Python, Django, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis AI (RAG / Agents / LLMs) and other relevant technologies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and deliver delightful feature experiences. - Implement data models, database schemas, and optimized APIs to support frontend applications and external integrations. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system reliability, stability, and security. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. - 1-3 years of professional experience in backend development focusing on Python, Django, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, AI, and relevant backend technologies. - Proficiency in Python, Django web framework, database systems like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis. - Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience in API integration. - Knowledge of software engineering principles, best practices, caching mechanisms, and version control systems like Git. - Problem-solving skills, effective communication, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and analytical thinking. - Stay updated with the latest trends in backend development and contribute to technical discussions and decision-making processes.
