In this role, you'll architect and lead the development of next-generation AI-powered applications that transform customer experiences across our product portfolio. You'll collaborate with world-class engineers and AI/ML scientists to solve complex technical challenges, establish best practices for AI system design, and mentor junior engineers while driving technical excellence. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Amazon financial applications, all while growing your technical leadership skills in one of the most rapidly evolving and impactful areas of modern computing.
- 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- Experience with data structures, algorithms, software design principles and databases- Knowledge of computer science fundamentals including object-oriented design, algorithms, and problem-solving- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and effectively communicate technical concepts
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers- Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI architectures- Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS AI/ML offerings- Demonstrated interest in staying current with rapidly evolving AI technologies and researchOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
