Project Role : Software Development Engineer Project Role Description : Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work. Must have skills : Java Enterprise Edition Good to have skills : NA Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary :As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code using Java Enterprise Edition. Your typical day will involve performing maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work across one or more clients in Bengaluru. Roles & Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java Enterprise Edition applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software features and enhancements. Perform code reviews and ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues and provide solutions. Stay updated with the latest advancements in Java Enterprise Edition and related technologies.-Angular JS, front-end framework powered by JavaScript.-Development of microservices with Java 11/17 in functional Java, with Spring Boot.-Data persistence with MongoDB.-Communication synchronously with APIs, Rest Client and OpenAPI3.0, REST services publication on WSO2-Event processing with Kafka.-Version control with Bitbucket.-Management of uploads between environments with requests in Jira, and tracking in Jenkins, Clarive and Urban.-Request, tracking and validation of the installation of uploads by the environments.-Review of logs in ELK.-Implementation of new developments and bug fixes.-Development of unit tests with Units and Mockito. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills:Strong proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition. Good To Have Skills:Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and RESTful web services. Solid understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures. Experience with Agile software development methodologies. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Experience with database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
