Project Role : Software Development Engineer Project Role Description : Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work. Must have skills : Mobile Architecture Good to have skills : NA Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics or any related stream Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of testers to ensure high-quality testing practices. Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases for mobile backend systems, web applications and APIs. Design and execute tests using tools like POSTMAN for API testing. Collaborate closely with development teams to understand backend architecture and integration points. Perform functional, non-functional, system integration, regression, and performance testing of backend APIs. Identify and document defects with detailed steps for reproduction and verification. Monitor and analyze test results to ensure application stability and performance. Provide timely and accurate reports on testing progress and quality metrics to stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. Technical Experience: Must Have Skills:Mandatory 8 years of experience in mobile backend application testing with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role. Experience in developing and implementing performance testing strategies and using tool like Loadrunner. Expertise in API testing tools such as POSTMAN, SOAPUI, or similar. Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for backend data validation. Strong understanding of backend technologies (RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, etc.).
