Project Role : Software Development Engineer Project Role Description : Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work. Must have skills : SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Good to have skills : NAMinimum 12 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary :As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing software solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality of the application. Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.- Design and develop software solutions that meet the requirements and align with industry best practices.- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality of the software.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of software components.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.- Experience in analyzing, designing, coding, and testing software components.- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL.- Experience with version control systems such as Git.- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP S/4HANA.- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.- Experience with performance optimization and tuning of software applications. Additional Information:- The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).- This position is based at our Chennai office.- A 15 years full-time education is required.
