We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Oracle Database Administrator to join our team serving the communications sector. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, security, performance tuning, and backup and recovery of Oracle databases. Your responsibilities will include proficiently managing Oracle databases, encompassing installation, configuration, upgrades, and patches. You will monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance to ensure optimal speed, reliability, and stability. Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive data, adhering to public sector compliance standards. Plan, execute, and test regular backups and recovery procedures to safeguard against data loss. Forecast database growth and recommend hardware and software requirements. Diagnose and resolve complex database issues quickly and efficiently. Collaborate closely with developers, system engineers, and other database administrators to ensure smooth operation of applications and systems. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree and possess expertise in Oracle Database Administration. You should have a career level of IC4 and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in your work.
