Description
As a Software Engineer specializing in Content Management Systems (CMS) and Product Experience Management (PXM) at Zoetis, your primary responsibility will be to develop strategies, oversee projects, and support the CMS & PXM platforms. Your tasks will involve building CMS & PXM strategies, managing multiple projects in a multi-vendor environment, coding, troubleshooting errors, adapting to new hardware, enhancing performance, and upgrading interfaces. Additionally, you will be involved in system testing, validation procedures, and collaborating with customers or departments on technical issues, including software system design and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: - Define the product roadmap for the evolution of the CMS and PXM platform in collaboration with Zoetis Tech and Digital (ZTD) and business stakeholders. - Gain buy-in for the product vision internally and with external partners. - Conduct formal design sessions, generate structured documentation, and communicate the strategy, roadmap, and design to engineers, architects, and stakeholders. - Collaborate with CMS and PXM users to analyze usage patterns, identify user interaction pain points, and address them in the product roadmap. - Lead projects that align with the vision of "Create Once, Publish Everywhere." - Ensure project deliverables' quality through code and test case reviews, oversee development activities, and monitor site compatibility, accessibility, and back-end performance. - Provide technical support during emergency events, resolve issues promptly, review change requests, and mentor junior developers. - Design and implement data models within Salsify for efficient handling of product data across all channels. - Engage with agency partners and vendors to syndicate product content accurately and efficiently across platforms. - Provide ongoing support and training to users to maximize the benefits of the Salsify platform. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience in web development. - 5+ years of hands-on site-building experience using CMS like Adobe, Crownpeak, Episerver (Optimizely), Contentful, Contentstack, Drupal. - 2+ years of proven experience in managing Salsify or similar Product Experience Management systems. - Ability to work in a globally distributed environment and execute in a dynamic, team-based setting. - Strong communication skills for effective interaction with all levels of management and staff. - Technical skills in implementing Headless CMS Capabilities, managing multiple CMS platforms, Spring frameworks, Akamai, API Gateway Frameworks, Agile methodology, JIRA, Confluence, and stakeholder collaboration. Please note the hybrid work schedule of Tuesday to Thursday working from the office for this full-time position.
