Job Description

Job Summary

Wissen Technology is hiring a skilled Java Software Developer with over 5 years of experience in building scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java and related technologies, and a passion for solving complex problems through clean and efficient code.

Bangalore, Karnataka and Mumbai, Maharashtra

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address them.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and apply them to operations and activities.

Qualifications and Required Skills

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot.
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to Have Skills

Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of frontend technologies like Angular or React.
Understanding of Agile methodologies.
