As a Software Developer specializing in Cluster & HUD HMI Engineering on the Unity/QNX platform, you are expected to have a strong educational background in Engineering, specifically in disciplines such as Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Computer, or Electrical & Electronics. Your core skills should include: - Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, C#, and Python. - Adept in utilizing the Unity engine for HMI development, covering various aspects like UI/UX implementation, animation systems, scene management, prefab structuring, rendering pipelines, asset bundling, build pipelines, and runtime optimization. - Skilled in interpreting Figma UX/UI specifications and translating them into Unity components with pixel-perfect design fidelity. - Experience in Cluster and Head-Up Display (HUD) application development using Unity on QNX-based embedded platforms. - Familiarity with tools like Adobe Photoshop, Aftereffects, Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max for interpreting and extracting UI/UX assets, understanding motion design references, and integrating visual/motion prototypes into real-time animations within Unity. - Knowledge of Qt/QML for collaboration purposes and an understanding of automotive HMI architecture, software design principles, and real-time constraints. - Proficiency in graphics APIs such as OpenGL ES, Vulkan, and shader programming. - Experience with automotive communication protocols like CAN, LIN, and Ethernet. - Strong debugging and performance tuning skills using various tools and experience in source control and CI/CD processes. Specializing in Unity-based HMI development for automotive Cluster and HUD, you should be adept in performance tuning, rendering optimization, and integrating real-time vehicle data using protocols like CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
