Software Engineer

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications and ensuring smooth integration between microservices and messaging pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement message-driven architectures using RabbitMQ and Kafka (basic to intermediate usage).

Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployments and configuration management using Chef.

Build scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure systems for data exchange and processing.

Debug, optimize, and improve existing systems to enhance performance and reliability.

Work in Agile teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical discussions.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to architecture and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1015 years of professional software development experience.

Strong programming skills in Python and Java.

Experience with RabbitMQ (queue management, message delivery patterns, monitoring).

Basic knowledge of Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions).

Hands-on experience with Chef or other configuration management/automation tools.

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, multithreading, and design patterns.

Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration tools.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).

Familiarity with test automation frameworks.
