Software Developer-PLC Programmer

Role Overview: As a Software Developer at Suzlon Group, your main focus will be to provide innovative software solutions in the renewable energy sector. You will be based in Pune and will play a crucial role in driving technological advances through your robust programming skill set and experience with PLC programming. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to enhancing global operations and maintaining the company's leadership in renewable energy innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Understand and review software requirements - PLC programming in ST - Code review - Software testing including preparation of test cases and testing of codes in-house and on-field - Documentation related to controls software such as Software release note, installation procedures, software test-reports, Change List, etc. - Hands-on and rich experience in programming of PLC controllers and embedded systems based on IEC-61131 programming languages (ST, FB, C/C++) - Industrial software development experience - Preparation of test cases for testing of the codes - Technical knowledge of various types of sensors, motors, relays, contactors, power electronics, and electro-mechanical devices used in wind/automation/process industries Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in PLC programming, ST, Structrual text, PLC Ladder Logic, FBD - Familiarity with Agile Methodologies - Experience in PLC Programming, specifically in wind turbine control - Technical knowledge of sensors, motors, relays, contactors, power electronics, and electro-mechanical devices - Strong experience in controls software development and documentation (Note: Company overview details were not included in the Job Description),
