Software Developer (.NET, K2)

As a Software Developer at Husky TechnologiesTM in Chennai, India, you will play a crucial role in designing, coding, and modifying various applications primarily using Microsoft .NET technology, K2 Five, and K2 BlackPearl stack. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, architects, and project leaders to develop visually appealing applications with user-friendly design and robust functionality. Responsibilities - Write efficient, testable code following software development best practices. - Generate and maintain appropriate documentation. - Refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs. - Manage version control using code repository for new software or changes. - Engage in architectural reviews. - Collaborate with team members to estimate, develop, and deploy solutions within specified timelines. - Stay updated with emerging technologies. - Troubleshoot development and production issues across multiple environments and operating platforms. - Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to handle tasks independently. - Adapt quickly to changing assignments, priorities, and new responsibilities. Qualifications Core values - University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science or related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in software development. - Proficient in object-oriented programming, database designing, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Strong knowledge of Microsoft .NET technology stack, full stack development, including front-end, integrations, middleware, and backend/database. - Expertise in K2 Five and K2 BlackPearl for workflow design, form creation, rule understanding, integration maintenance, permission management, troubleshooting, and administration. - Experience with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps for Git, TFS, and automated K2 deployments. - Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Webforms, ASP.NET MVC, Knockout.js, jQuery, Active Directory Integration, SharePoint Integration, and SQL Server Integration. - Familiarity with web services/APIs (e.g., SOAP, REST), source code management, CI/CD, and automated deployment. - Knowledge of Clean Code, Unit Testing, and Test-driven Development. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (spoken and written). Advantages - Proficiency in Azure Cloud services such as Functions, Logic apps, Web Apps, SQL Server, and others. - Experience with React or similar frameworks. - Understanding of SQL and Agile values, principles, and Scrum methodology. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, or equivalent source code repositories.
