Software Developer - Full Stack

As a Full Stack Developer Intern at Brew, you will have the opportunity to work on a nextgen content distribution platform for filmmakers. You will collaborate closely with the founding team to develop our core web application and supporting services. This role is perfect for someone who excels in fast-paced startup environments, writes clean code, and takes ownership of features from concept to deployment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Understand product requirements from wireframes and translate them into technical tasks and implementation plans. - Evaluate and recommend the appropriate tech stack and architecture for features. - Develop interactive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using NextJS, ensuring responsiveness and performance. - Create scalable backend services using NodeJS, including implementing RESTful APIs, authentication, rate limiting, and third-party integrations. - Build TV apps for all major OEMs. - Design, manage, and optimize relational (MySQL) or NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and security. - Conduct thorough testing and debugging across the stack, implement logging/monitoring, and maintain high reliability and code quality. **Qualifications Required:** - 3rd or final year undergraduate students preferred. - Strong fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript, NextJS, NodeJS, React Native. - Experience in building TV apps is a significant advantage. - Ability to proactively tackle ambiguous problems and take ownership of features. - Prior experience with startups or side projects is a plus. - Collaborative attitude, strong debugging skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
