A Software Developer for AI Products (Global) at Linde will have the exciting opportunity to work within the Artificial Intelligence team of Linde's AI global corporate division. In this role, you will be involved in addressing real business challenges and opportunities across multiple countries. Your main focus will be to assist the AI team in extending existing AI products and creating new ones for various use cases throughout Linde's business and value chain. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work alongside Project Managers, Data Scientists, Data and Software Engineers, and other professionals in Linde's Global AI team. As a Software Developer AI, your responsibilities will include supporting the AI team by enhancing existing products and developing new ones to cater to a wide range of use cases within Linde's business and value chain. You will be tasked with building and updating platforms and products offered by the AI team, focusing on both backend and frontend development. Additionally, you will collaborate with customer data to develop cloud-based applications, experiment with CI/CD tooling for software delivery, conduct reliability and performance testing, establish process management tools, and develop prototypes and replication pipelines for existing solutions. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience, along with strong skills in backend (e.g., Python) and frontend (e.g., React) development. You should be adept at writing maintainable code using the latest conventions of languages and frameworks, have experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, continuous application building and deployment, and familiarity with major cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP). Effective communication in English, experience working with data scientists, ML engineers, and developers, knowledge of IT administration and data security practices, as well as stakeholder management in large organizations are also essential qualifications.
