Software Developer - CMS

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Define Product Roadmap

• Help define the product roadmap for the evolution of the

  CMS

  and

  PXM

  platforms, with input from

  Zoetis Tech and Digital (ZTD)

  and business stakeholders.
• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.

2. Design and Communication

• Facilitate formal design sessions with the team and generate structured documentation to clearly communicate the

  strategy, roadmap, and design

  to engineers, architects, and stakeholders.

3. User Interaction Analysis

• Collaborate with

  CMS

  and

  PXM

  users to analyze usage patterns and discover

  user interaction pain points

  .
• Address these pain points in the

  product roadmap

  .

4. Project Leadership

• Spearhead various projects that help achieve the vision of Create Once, Publish Everywhere.
• Ensure the quality of project deliverables through

  code reviews

  and

  test case reviews

  .
• Oversee development activities related to projects and

  production support activities

  .

5. Site Management

• Maintain site compatibility,

  accessibility

  , and

  back-end performance

  .
• Regularly monitor and adjust standards as necessary.

6. Support and Emergency Resolution

• Provide support during technical emergencies and help resolve issues promptly to minimize business impact.

7. Change Request Management

• Review, analyze, and solution change requests to determine complexity.
• Provide

  resource/cost estimates

  for the change requests.

8. Mentorship and Training

• Mentor

  junior developers

  on application delivery and operational aspects of production and non-production systems.
• Provide ongoing support and

  training

  to users to maximize the benefits of the

  Salsify platform

  .

9. Data Modeling and Content Syndication

• Design and implement

  data models

  within

  Salsify

  to ensure structured and efficient handling of product data across all channels.
• Engage with

  agency partners

  and

  vendor platforms

  to syndicate product content accurately across retailer platforms, ensuring consistency and relevance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's or Master's degree

  in

  Computer Science

  or a related field, or equivalent work experience in

  web development

  .

• 5+ years

  of hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as

  Adobe

  ,

  Crownpeak

  ,

  Episerver (Optimizely)

  ,

  Contentful

  ,

  Contentstack

  ,

  Drupal

  .

• 2+ years

  of proven experience managing

  Salsify

  or similar

  Product Experience Management (PXM)

  or

  Product Information Management (PIM)

  systems.
• Ability to work in a

  globally distributed environment

• Proven track record in a

  dynamic, team-based environment

  .
• Demonstrated ability to understand customer challenges, navigate from problem to resolution, and effectively communicate the process and resolution.
