Software Developer - CMS Tech & Digital

As a Software Engineer specializing in Content Management Systems (CMS) and Product Experience Management (PXM) at Zoetis, your primary responsibility will be to develop and support the strategy for CMS & PXM platforms. You will be involved in overseeing multiple projects in a multi-vendor environment, writing code, fixing errors, adapting to new hardware, improving performance, and upgrading interfaces. Additionally, you will direct system testing and validation procedures, collaborate with customers and departments on technical issues, and participate in software system design and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: - Define the product roadmap for the evolution of the CMS and PXM platform in collaboration with Zoetis Tech and Digital (ZTD) and business stakeholders. - Create buy-in for the product vision internally and with external partners. - Facilitate design sessions and generate structured documentation to communicate strategy, roadmap, and design to engineers, architects, and stakeholders. - Analyze usage patterns of CMS and PXM users to identify interaction pain points and address them in the product roadmap. - Lead projects to achieve the vision of "Create Once, Publish Everywhere." - Ensure project deliverables" quality through code and test case reviews, oversee development activities, and maintain site compatibility, accessibility, and back-end performance. - Provide technical support during emergency events to minimize business impact and mentor junior developers. - Design and implement data models within Salsify for efficient handling of product data and engage with agency partners to syndicate product content accurately across retailer platforms. - Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate reflection of digital shelf content in Product Experience Management (PXM) solution. - Provide ongoing support and training to users to maximize the benefits of the Salsify platform. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience in web development. - 5+ years of hands-on experience using CMS like Adobe, Crownpeak, Episerver, Contentful, Contentstack, or Drupal. - 2+ years of experience managing Salsify or similar Product Experience Management systems. - Proficiency in working in a globally distributed environment, executing in a dynamic, team-based setting, and interacting with all levels of management and staff. - Strong technical skills in implementing Headless CMS Capabilities, managing multiple CMS platforms, Spring frameworks, Akamai, API Gateway Frameworks, Agile methodology, JIRA, and Confluence.
