Software Developer - C++

As a C++ Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge software solutions to simulate and design buildings that can withstand various environmental challenges such as earthquakes, wind, and live loads. Your responsibilities will include developing high-fidelity C++ multithreaded simulation software and BIM applications with a focus on user experience using Unreal Engine. You will also be designing, coding, and debugging UI interfaces/architectures, collaborating with structural engineers to enhance features and user experiences, and creating prototypes to validate design concepts and technical constraints. Additionally, you will be expected to provide strong technical leadership with an emphasis on continuous improvement. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline. You must have hands-on programming experience in C++ and a proven track record in developing GUI desktop applications using C++ frameworks such as Qt, wxWidgets, or UMG. Proficiency in OOPS, Data Structures, Multithreading, State Machines, Design Patterns, debugging, performance optimization, unit testing, and version control with Git is essential. A solid foundation in Physics and Mathematics, particularly in coordinate geometry, is also required. Preferred skills and experience for this position include previous work with 3D game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity using C++, as well as experience with 3D CAD/BIM/FEA or 3D simulation applications developed in C++.
