Software Developer - BI

As a Software Developer in the Business Intelligence team at Mediaocean, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices that support BI data pipelines and analytics platforms. Your responsibilities will include building and optimizing ETL processes using Python and SQL, collaborating with various teams to deliver high-impact BI solutions, implementing CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment, and applying OOP principles to develop modular and testable code. You will be expected to monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high availability and performance, as well as contribute to data modeling and architecture decisions for scalable BI infrastructure. Your hands-on experience in software development with a focus on BI or data-centric applications, proficiency in Python, strong understanding of SQL and relational databases, and familiarity with Jenkins, Git, microservices architecture, and containerization tools will be essential for success in this role. To excel in this position, you should possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration abilities. Experience in Adtech or digital marketing domains, exposure to BI tools like Sisense and Jasper, understanding of data warehousing, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and sprint-based development will be advantageous.
