Building off Oracle's Cloud momentum, the Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure organization has been established to focus on product development and strategy for Oracle Health, with the aim of supporting modernized, automated healthcare. The team is currently seeking hands-on engineers with a strong background in various areas of software engineering such as distributed systems, identity, security, observability, and user experience. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of new cloud-centric applications from the ground up in a fast-growing and innovative environment. As a Consulting Member of Technical Staff (CMTS) at Oracle Health, you will play a key role in designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to support the health care platform and applications. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's degree preferred) and a minimum of 12 years of experience in distributed service engineering within a software development environment. Proficiency in Java, hands-on experience with public cloud services, and a deep understanding of object-oriented design within a cloud environment are essential requirements for this role. Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in areas such as networking protocols, infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, containers and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), and databases and storage technologies. The successful candidate will also demonstrate proficiency in ES6, Javascript, ReactJS, Redux, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles. Experience with backend services, REST APIs, GraphQL, test frameworks, Linux, and technical leadership skills are highly desirable qualities for this role. Preferred qualifications include experience in the healthcare industry or electronic medical records systems, developing services on public cloud platforms, and knowledge of compliance standards such as FedRAMP and PCI DSS.
