We are looking for a highly motivated M.Tech Intern to join our Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) team. You will work on cutting-edge technologies that power the future of connected, autonomous, and electric vehicles. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real-time embedded software, in-vehicle networking, and functional safety, shaping the future of mobility. Key Responsibilities: 1. Software Development for SDVs Develop and integrate software-defined vehicle (SDV) architectures for next-generation automotive platforms. Work on software-driven ECUs, zonal controllers, and high-performance computing (HPC) platforms. Implement Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and middleware for SDV applications. Develop software using C, C++, and Python for embedded applications. Learn and work with AUTOSAR (Classic & Adaptive), RTOS, and embedded Linux. 2. Vehicle Communication & Connectivity Develop and test Automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP, and CAN-based communication protocols. Contribute to Vehicle-to-Cloud (V2C) and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) connectivity solutions. Support data exchange between SDV components and cloud platforms. 3. Virtualization & Cloud Integration Assist in the development of virtual ECUs (vECUs) using hypervisors and containerized environments. Work on (SDN) and edge computing solutions for SDVs. Support cloud-based automotive services using AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Google Cloud. 4. Over-the-Air (OTA) Updates & Remote Diagnostics Implement secure OTA update mechanisms for software and firmware updates. 5. Functional Safety & Cybersecurity for SDVs Learn and assist in implementing ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO/SAE 21434 (Cybersecurity for SDVs). Support the integration of intrusion detection and prevention systems in SDVs. 6. Testing & Validation Work on HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), SIL (Software-in-the-Loop), and MIL (Model-in-the-Loop) testing methodologies. Use industry-standard tools such as Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, MATLAB/Simulink, dSpace(ControlDesk), and Lauterbach Debuggers. Who Can Apply? Education & Background: M.Tech in Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Required Skills: Programming: Strong foundation in C, C++, Embedded C, Python. Microcontrollers & SoCs: Understanding of Microcontrollers & SoCs. Operating Systems: Familiarity with RTOS (FreeRTOS, QNX, VxWorks) or Tools & Simulations: Basic knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink Preferred Skills: Internship or project experience in automotive software development, ADAS, or EV powertrain control.
