Job Summary:

Technical Trainer with 10+ years of experience in strong .NET, Controls, and Manufacturing knowledge

About the Role:

As a Technical Trainer, you will develop and deliver training programs related to custom automation solutions used in R&D, process development, and manufacturing at Boston Scientific. You will leverage your knowledge of .NET development, PLC/controls, and manufacturing processes to train cross-functional teams on safe, efficient, and compliant use of automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver training on automation systems, custom manufacturing equipment, and software tools.
• Develop technical training materials, SOPs, and documentation for operators and engineers.
• Train teams on. NET-based applications (C#, WPF) are used in machine control and equipment interfaces.
• Provide hands-on instruction for systems involving motion controllers, sensors, pneumatics, HMIs, and safety devices.
• Ensure all training aligns with FDA/QSR compliance and internal quality standards.
• Support troubleshooting sessions and guide teams on equipment optimisation and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand new systems and translate them into structured training programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Software, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering, technical training, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong teaching/training ability with hands-on experience in: Microsoft .NET (C#, WPF, VB.NET), PC-based machine control, Manufacturing or automation systems
• Ability to work onsite daily in Maple Grove, MN

Preferred Skills:

• Experience training on PLCs, industrial automation, and motion control systems
• Familiarity with Aerotech A3200 or Automation 1 drives/controllers
• Background in integrating off-the-shelf components into automated solutions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
