Project Role : Software Configuration Engineer Project Role Description : Implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. Assist in the design of software configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements. Must have skills : SUSE Linux Administration Good to have skills : Microsoft Azure Architecture, Google Cloud Platform Administration, AWS Administration Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary :As a Software Configuration Engineer, you will implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. You will also assist in the design of software configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team to ensure smooth software configuration and customization processes. Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to perform independently and become an SME. Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. Collaborate with the Configuration Lead to implement the configuration management plan. Assist in designing software configuration and customization. Provide expertise in software configuration processes. Contribute innovative ideas to enhance software configuration efficiency. Participate actively in team meetings and discussions. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in SUSE Linux Administration. Good To Have Skills:Experience with Microsoft Azure Architecture, AWS Administration, Google Cloud Platform Administration. Strong understanding of Linux system administration. Experience in implementing and managing software configuration. Knowledge of scripting languages for automation. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in SUSE Linux Administration. This position is based at our Kolkata office.
