Software Architect Java Multi-Tenant SAAS Cloud Native

The Role:.

• The Architect is a technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications.
• This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing principles, containerization technologies and modern application development paradigms.
• You will collaborate with developers, operations teams, and stakeholders to ensure applications are scalable, secure, and meet business objectives.
• You will ensure the feasibility of all technical aspects of the products, makes overall product design and technology choices, develops standards for coding, tools, and platforms, mentors less experienced Architects.

Key Responsibilities:.

• Design and implement distributed, real-time, secure, robust, scalable, and high performant systems using cloud-native / SOA/ microservices / serverless architectures.
• Design and implement containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Select and configure cloud platforms and services (e g, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Integrate cloud-native applications with APIs and other services.
• Present technological evolution and future state architecture to other teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews and audits to ensure compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure security and compliance requirements are integrated into all architectural designs.
• Lead POCs to explore new technologies and validate their applicability to the organization.
• Develop mitigation strategies to address potential risks and ensure business continuity.
• Assess and manage technical risks associated with architectural decisions.
• Promote best practices in coding, design, and architecture.
• Contribute to improving existing development processes and build culture of continuous learning.
• Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in cloud native development.
• Mentor and guide development teams on latest development best practices.

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:.

• BE/BTech or MS degree in Computer Science from a reputed university.
• 12+ years of hands-on experience in designing & developing multi-tenant SAAS solutions using Microservices, Event Driven and SOA Architecture.
• Experience in Distributed Architecture Concepts/Design Patterns/SOLID principles.
• Experience with any one of messaging frameworks like Active MQ, Kafka.
• Experience in hosting applications in cloud with cost optimization strategies.
• Excellent understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and tools (e g maven, Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Advanced knowledge of Java, JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML5, Oracle, MSSQL, NoSQL.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
• Experience in an agile development environment with Test-driven development (TDD).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Certifications in cloud technologies (e g, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) is a plus.
• FinTech experience will be a plus.
