Role: Shift Engineer Roles & Responsibilities: Operate crushing machines (hammer mills, ball mills, jaw crushers, pulverizers ). Monitor machinery to ensure proper particle size output. Perform routine checks and maintenance to prevent breakdowns. Report equipment malfunctions and assist in repairs. Load raw solid chemicals (e.g., soda ash, urea, sulfur) into crushers. Adjust machine settings for desired fineness (coarse, fine, or powder). Ensure consistent flow of materials to avoid blockages. Follow batch processing instructions for different chemicals. Check crushed materials for uniform particle size. Collect samples for lab testing if required. Document production data (batch numbers, crushing times, output quality).
