Social Studies Teacher

Job Role Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Social Studies Teacher to educate and inspire students in the subjects of history, geography, civics, and current affairs. The teacher will help students understand society, culture, environment, and governance—encouraging critical thinking, empathy, and civic responsibility. This role is vital in shaping informed and active future citizens.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Social Studies topics in alignment with national or state curriculum standards (e.g., CBSE, ICSE, NCERT, or local board).
• Deliver engaging lessons in history, geography, political science, economics, and cultural studies.
• Connect classroom lessons to real-life issues, current events, and students’ local contexts.
• Use maps, visual media, project work, and storytelling to make subjects more interactive and relatable.
• Encourage debates, group work, and presentations to build communication and reasoning skills.
• Prepare and evaluate assessments, assignments, and projects to track student learning.
• Promote values like tolerance, diversity, democratic thinking, and environmental awareness.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to plan integrated or interdisciplinary lessons and activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,135.58 - ₹27,296.52 per month

Schedule:

• Morning shift
