Role Overview As an Online Social Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering interactive and engaging lessons in subjects such as History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics to students. Utilizing virtual classroom tools, you will create a dynamic learning environment that fosters critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of social sciences. Key Responsibilities Lesson Planning & Delivery : Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs. Virtual Classroom Management : Conduct live classes using web conferencing software, ensuring active student participation and maintaining a conducive learning environment. Assessment & Feedback : Design and administer formative and summative assessments; provide timely and constructive feedback to students. Student Support : Offer individualized support to students, addressing their academic challenges and fostering a growth mindset. Collaboration : Work closely with fellow educators and academic coordinators to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices. Professional Development : Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest educational technologies and pedagogical approaches. Qualifications Educational Background : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Science or a related field. Certification : B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred. Experience : Minimum of 3 years teaching Social Science at the secondary or senior secondary level. Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with virtual classroom platforms and educational technology tools. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
