Social Science Teacher

Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience (Preferred)

Education: B.A./M.A. in Social Sciences (History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, etc.) with B.Ed.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the subject, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make learning interactive and engaging for students.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver well-planned, creative, and interactive lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and related subjects.

Develop lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.

Foster critical thinking and a global perspective in students.

Use diverse teaching methods, including project-based learning, discussions, and technology-integrated sessions.

Evaluate and assess students' progress through tests, assignments, and activities.

Encourage student participation in debates, quizzes, and co-curricular programs.

Maintain a positive, disciplined classroom environment.

Coordinate with fellow educators and participate in staff meetings, workshops, and parent-teacher interactions.

Prepare students for school examinations and board assessments.

Strong subject knowledge and command over English/Hindi (as per school medium).

Ability to connect historical and geographical concepts to current events and real-world contexts.

Patience, creativity, and a student-centric approach.

Familiarity with modern teaching aids (smart boards, Google Classroom, etc.).

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
