Role & responsibilities

Curriculum Development:

• Develop and implement engaging and comprehensive lesson plans in alignment with the curriculum guidelines.
• Incorporate diverse teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.

Classroom Instruction:

• Facilitate dynamic and interactive classroom discussions that encourage critical thinking and analysis.
• Utilize multimedia resources, technology, and real-world examples to enhance the learning experience.

Assessment and Feedback:

• Administer assessments, quizzes, and exams to evaluate students' understanding of social science concepts.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Student Engagement:

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and collaboration among students.
• Organize extracurricular activities, projects, or field trips related to social sciences to enhance students' practical knowledge.

Parent Communication:

• Maintain open and effective communication with parents to discuss students' progress, address concerns, and promote parental involvement in their child's education.

Professional Development:

• Stay updated on current trends, research, and advancements in the field of social sciences and education.

Classroom Management:

• Establish and maintain a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Implement effective strategies for managing student behavior and addressing disciplinary issues when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Science Education or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Teaching certification from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience as a Social Science Teacher, preferably in the Indian education system
• Strong knowledge of social science subjects, including history, geography, political science, and sociology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
