Job Description

We are seeking a creative and strategic SMO Manager to lead our social media optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media platforms, a passion for content creation, and the ability to grow and engage our online community. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing strategies to boost brand presence, audience engagement, and overall digital performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SMO strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and website traffic.
  • Manage and optimize social media accounts across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, and other platforms.
  • Create and curate engaging, shareable content (text, images, videos, infographics) aligned with brand voice.
  • Plan and schedule posts using content calendars, ensuring consistency across platforms.
  • Monitor and engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly.
  • Manage and optimize paid social media campaigns using platforms like Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and content creators to deliver visually appealing assets.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics (reach, engagement, CTR, conversions).
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve social media ROI.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging tools to adapt strategies effectively.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in social media efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with social media best practices, ad policies, and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, PR, and customer support teams to align campaigns with business goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, influencers, and agencies to expand reach.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master's degree a plus).
  • Proven experience as an SMO Manager or in a similar role with a strong track record.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and management tools.
  • Hands-on experience in content creation (copywriting, graphics, video editing).
  • Proficiency with analytics tools and ability to derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends and technologies.
  • Experience with

    paid advertising platforms

    (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Instagram Ads) is a plus.
