Job Overview:

As the Social Media & Authority Building Specialist, your mission is to execute the social media component of our digital strategy. You will transform our social channelswith a laser focus on LinkedInfrom a simple broadcast tool into a powerful engine for authority, influence, and lead generation. You will be responsible for building the personal brands of our founders and making the LocaXion name synonymous with RTLS expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Atomization & Distribution:

    Systematically deconstruct our long-form pillar content (guides, whitepapers, webinars) into a high-velocity cadence of engaging LinkedIn content, including text posts, carousels, infographics, and short-form videos.
  • Thought Leadership Execution:

    Lead the social media execution of our provocative and educational content series, such as the RTLS Vendor Teardown, designed to spark industry conversation and cement our position as the unbiased expert.
  • Executive Brand Building:

    Work directly with our founders to build their personal LinkedIn profiles into the most influential voices in the RTLS industry. This includes ghostwriting, content creation, and strategic engagement to grow their authority and reach.
  • Community & Influencer Engagement:

    Proactively identify and engage in conversations within key LinkedIn groups, forums, and on the posts of industry influencers where our target personas congregate. Your goal is to provide value and position LocaXion as the go-to resource.
  • Partner Co-Marketing Amplification:

    Collaborate with the marketing team to amplify co-branded content (webinars, reports) across all social channels, ensuring our partners are tagged and engaged to maximize reach into their networks.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting:

    Track and report on social media performance with a focus on metrics that matter: website traffic from social, lead magnet downloads, follower growth from target industries, and engagement from key accounts and personas.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B social media marketing, with a proven track record of growing a brand's presence on LinkedIn.
  • Exceptional English copywriting skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics into compelling, concise social media content.
  • Demonstrable experience repurposing long-form content into multiple engaging social media formats.
  • A deep, tactical understanding of the LinkedIn platform, its algorithm, and best practices for organic growth.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a highly technical B2B industry such as manufacturing, logistics, IIoT, or enterprise software.
  • Proficiency with design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Descript) to create social-native assets.
  • Experience managing and growing the personal brands of company executives or founders.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Sprout Social, Shield).
