Job Description:
The Social Media Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that promote the educational institute's brand, engage with current and prospective students, and enhance community involvement. This role requires creativity, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of various social media platforms and their analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Strategy Development:
- Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the institute's goals and target audience.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and audience insights.
2. Content Creation:
- Develop engaging, high-quality content (text, image, video, Reels) for various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google Business.
- Creating and designing visually appealing graphics and videos.
3. Community Engagement:
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner to foster a positive online community.
- Organize online events, webinars, and Q&A sessions to engage with students and prospects.
4. Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote programs, events, and initiatives.
- Manage advertising budgets for social media ads, optimizing campaigns for better performance.
5. Analytics and Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and others.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data to enhance future strategies.
6. Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all channels.
- Coordinate with other departments (Admissions, Student Services, etc.) to highlight achievements, news, and events.
7. Staying Updated:
- Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in social media and digital marketing.
- Attend workshops and webinars to continually improve skills and knowledge.
- To improve the quality of reels by applying and learning new features
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Skills:
- Proficient in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
