Social Media Marketer

Role & responsibilities

• Build and maintain monthly content calendars for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
• Design eye-catching creatives (posts, carousels, stories) that align with the brands identity.
• Shoot, edit, and publish Instagram Reels, Stories, and short-form videos using trending audio and formats.
• Optimize all content based on social media algorithms (timing, format, hashtags, hooks).
• Write engaging captions, thought-leadership posts, and storytelling-driven content.
• Collaborate with performance marketing teams to align organic + paid content strategies.
• Manage community engagement by responding to comments, DMs, and interacting with relevant audiences.
• Track and report on performance metrics (ER, follower growth, reach, saves, shares) and provide insights.
• Research and leverage trends, memes, and viral formats to increase reach and relatability.
• Support campaigns, partnerships, and influencer collaborations with strong content execution.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-4 years of proven experience in social media content creation and strategy.
• Expertise in designing creatives (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma).
• Strong skills in video editing & reel creation (CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar).
• Proven ability to grow social pages organically by understanding Instagram & LinkedIn algorithms.
• Solid writing skills with a knack for captions, hooks, and storytelling.
• Familiarity with social scheduling & analytics tools (Meta Insights, Later, Hootsuite, GA4, LinkedIn Analytics).

Bonus: experience working with photographers, influencers, or UGC creators.
