Role Overview

Social Media Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the official social media handles of Shriram Finance (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
• Plan, create, and publish engaging content aligned with brand guidelines and business goals
• Work closely with internal teams and agency partners to execute social media campaigns and content calendars
• Monitor social media trends, conversations, and competitor activity to identify opportunities
• Track, analyze, and report on key metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, sentiment, and campaign performance
• Respond to comments, queries, and community interactions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner
• Coordinate with designers, video editors, and copywriters to create high-quality content
• Support integrated marketing campaigns and brand-building initiatives by ensuring strong social media amplification
• Stay updated on platform algorithm changes, best practices, and emerging formats
• Ensure all communication reflects the brand personality, values, and tone of voice

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working in a social media agency or brand marketing team
• Strong understanding of major social platforms and their content ecosystems
• Ability to develop content ideas, write copy, and manage content calendars
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, YouTube Studio, Google Analytics, etc.
• Basic understanding of performance metrics, paid media fundamentals, and influencer marketing
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Creative thinking, attention to detail, and a passion for storytelling
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Experience in BFSI is a bonus but not mandatory
