Role Description

This is an on-site role for a Social Media Manager, based in Pune. The Social Media Manager will oversee and execute social media strategies, manage social media accounts, and implement social media optimization (SMO) techniques. The role includes crafting engaging content, creating and implementing content strategies, and fostering consistent communication on various platforms to increase brand awareness and audience engagement.

1. Social Media Strategy & Planning

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Research trending content, competitors, and audience insights.
  • Plan monthly content calendars for all platforms.

2. Content Creation & Management

  • Create engaging posts, graphics, Reels, stories, and video content.
  • Manage daily posting schedules on all platforms.
  • Ensure brand consistency in tone, look, and messaging.

3. Platform-Specific Expertise

LinkedIn

  • Grow company page followers & engagement.
  • Create professional content for B2B audiences.
  • Manage leadership branding & employee advocacy posts.

Facebook

  • Boost reach using groups, pages, campaigns, and targeted ads.
  • Manage customer queries via Messenger.

Instagram

  • Create high-performing Reels and visual content.
  • Use trending audio, hashtags, and influencer collaborations.

4. Community Management

  • Respond to comments, messages, and community queries promptly.
  • Engage with followers to build strong audience relationships.

5. Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and analyze platform performance (reach, impressions, engagement, conversions).
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports with insights & action plans.

6. Paid Social Media Ads (Optional but preferred)

  • Manage Facebook & Instagram Ads Manager.
  • Run performance-driven campaigns (traffic, leads, conversions).

7. Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Marketing, Design, and Sales teams.
  • Coordinate influencer collaborations & partnerships.

Skills Required

  • Strong expertise in

    LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter (X), Threads

    , etc.
  • Excellent copywriting & storytelling skills.
  • Ability to create and edit basic graphics (Canva/Photoshop).
  • Understanding of social media algorithms & trends.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of paid advertising (Facebook & Instagram Ads).
  • Experience managing social media for brands/agencies
